Rangewinds Industrial Development

Calgary, AB

The two warehouses (designed while with Gibbs Gage Architects) forming the first phase of a large industrial development, are comprised of 50 ft wide bays which can be combined together to create a larger rental entities. Extended volumetric forms have been inserted into the otherwise monolithic façade to create a composition of solid and void. The project with its sculptural approach to the building forms gets away from the typical symmetry and order of a typical warehouse building and instead introduces asymmetry and varied rhythm to form a contemporary architectural form.

I lead the design team of the Rangewinds Industrial Development and Master Planning while I was working at Gibbs Gage Architects.
